Sir Harry LauderWhat can I say? Another early superstar whose recordings of Scottish songs still bring forth laughter (well for me anyway!). As with Billy Williams, Sir Harry Lauder recorded on most cylinder and disc labels. Several LP's (modern 78's!!!) of his songs have been released, and no doubt re-issued on CD.

Once again, more biographical details can be found at Daniel Nixon's excellent Cylinders 101 site, on the Harry Lauder pages. Included is a partial cylinder discography...a work in progress.

Sir Harry is still the highest selling Scottish recording artist of all time.
